Disclaimer:  This is a technical trail race with LOTS of elevation. Trail shoes, eye protection (glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses) and trekking poles are highly recommended. Each loops has approximately 350 M of elevation. Expect to double your road race time of the same distance on this course. Also, there may be wildlife and farm animals on course. 

This course is on private land graciously made available by the land owner. Please respect the land and leave no trace. Any littering will result in immediate disqualification and a 200$ fine.

Field Size: Due to the current public health situation with Coronavirus, we are at this time capping this race to 100 athletes. Should the situation change and recommendations from health officials change, and increase in field size will be considered. Our first priority is the health of our community.

From Lloydminster Area: South on HWY 17, west on 619, Range Road 20 go South. or HWY 16 West to Range Road 20, past 619 junction – south and on RHS

From Wainwright Area: East on HWY 14, to 897 go North, East on 619, South on Range Road #20

From Vermilion Area: East on HWY 16, to hwy 897, south to 619, east on 619 to range road #20

6 Hour Timed Event: Laps will be counted. The person with the most laps completed will be the winner. The cut off time to start your final lap is 2:15 PM.

Aid: 2 aid stations will be on course, one at the start finish line and 1 approximately half way through. Aid stations with both include water, sports drink and gels. The start finish line aid station will have other ultra-marathon food including soup and boiled potatoes. This is a cup less (no disposable cups on site) event so please bring bottles to carry on your person or a reusable cup.

Pacers: No pacers are allowed.

Support Crews: 6 hour athletes are welcome to bring their own support crew who can set up in the designated transition area near the start finish line.

Package Pickup: Will be announced at a later date.

Relay Teams: Are permitted for the 6 hour event. A relay team can have as little as 2 people and as many as 7. Each team member can register individually however ensure the same team name is used on each registration.

Cancellation Policy: Athlete requested cancellations will be considered on a case by case basis, however a reason must be legitimate and unavoidable. Should we cancel the race for reasons either in or out of our control (for instance, Coronavirus), athletes will have the option of deferring registration to next year, or a full refund.
