Midwest Endurance is a sports promotion business putting on competitive endurance events in the Lloydminster Area.
Many runners of all skill levels find that races are the highlight of their year, and provide goals to keep them accountable and active. In 2018, local runners Mackenzie Brown and Chris Bogue started Midwest Endurance to bring competitive racing to the Lloydminster area, and to provide local runners with premium quality races right in our city. Midwest Endurance’s mission is to promote the sport of running in the Lloydminster area, and our vision is a healthier, happier, and more connected Lloydminster. Although heavily involved with Lloydminster Runners, Midwest Endurance is a race promotion business, separate from the club.
Race Info:
When: June 14, 2026 at 11 AM after the Titanium Half Marathon
Distances:
There will be 3 kids races in 2025 to accommodate the various ages and skill levels of our young runners. The following options are available.
- 500 Meters – recommended children aged 3-5
- 1 KM – recommended children aged 4-9
- 2 KM – recommended children aged 6+
Pricing:
Race entry is 30$ and includes a finishers medal and T-shirt (shirts are only guaranteed until May 15, but we will order extra and will hopefully have enough). If you child wants to race and you cannot afford entry, please email us.
Compassionate Pricing:
If your family is not in a position to pay for race entry this year, please email midwestenduranceyll@gmail.com to request a discounted or free registration code. This is 100% confidential.
Start Times:
There will be a fun guided warmup led by some of our past adult race winners starting at 10:45.
11:00 AM – 2 KM Race Start
11:20 – 1 KM Race Start
11:40 – 500 Meter Race Start
Package Pickup:
Package Pickup is at the start finish line, at the Bud Miller All Season Park Picnic Area, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. See the parking section below for a map.
Parking:
We have access to all Bud Miller parking as well as the parking lot both in front and behind Lakeland College. This is a short walk to our start finish line at the Camp area of Bud Miller Park. We ask that if you live close to the park that you consider walking, or consider carpooling if you are in a group.

Course:
Our race course is a park trail based course in the beautiful Bud Miller All Seasons Park in Lloydminster, AB. All distances will be out and backs on the adult course.
Swag:
All racers get a medal included with entry fee and a tshirt while supplies last. You will be able to tell at registration if there are shirts left.
Refund Policy:
Our refund policy is based off of incurred costs. We incur costs throughout the year to pay for all of the products and services that you receive with your entry. This includes Swag, medal, insurance, nutrition, timing, t-shirt, and misc others. Whenever possible, we prefer people request a discounted rollover to a refund because we also pay transaction fees at the time of registration, and upon issuing a refund.
Refund/Rollover dates/rules:
January 1 – Feb 1 – 70% refund or 75% discounted rollover to next year.
Feb 2 – May 1 – 50% refund or 55% discounted rollover to next year.
May 1 – June 1 – No refund or rollover, but you can transfer your entry to a new racers (sell your entry). Distance can be changed lower if requested, but t-shirt size cannot be changed.
After June 1 – No refunds, rollovers, or changes/transfers.
Complimentary Race Day Photography:
Please be advised that we will have photographers on course taking race photos. These are free of charge and will be linked to our website in the days after the race: https://lloydminsterrunners.com/past-races/. All of the race photos will be uploaded to Google Drive and made publically available. If you DO NOT wish your photos to be posted publicly, you can opt out of race photos by submitting a letter requesting this to the race directors. Please submit in person on race day or at package pickup and we will delete your photos from the upload.
